What is Text The Librarian?
This is an opportunity for you to use the text messaging feature of your mobile phone to ask Mr. Thomarie questions when the library is closed or when you are unable to get to the library.

How Do I Do It?

Mon-Fri ~ 8am-3pm
Mon-Fri ~ 8pm-10pm
Sat & Sun ~ anytime, but response might be delayed.

Note: you will always get a response, it just might not be immediate!
What Questions Can I Ask?
Anything library or research related.
Examples include:
"How do I cite in MLA format?"
"Please help me with Noodle Tools"
"Is Hunger Games checked in?"
"How do I double space in Word?"
etc...
Does It Cost Me Anything?
The service is FREE, but charges from your cell phone provider may apply.
How Long Before I Get A Response?
  • It depends on the time of day.
  • I will respond to all questions as quickly as possible
  • Response time will also depend on my service, so if I am out-of-service you might have to wait.
  • You will always get a response, just don't expect one at 3am!
